…the angel said to [the shepherds],
“Do not be afraid.
I bring you good news that will cause great joy
for all the people.
Today in the town of David
a Savior has been born to you;
He is the Messiah, Christ the Lord…”
Luke 2:10-11
What better way to conclude our Advent of Expectation together than with rejoicing and worship as we both celebrate the first coming of Jesus Christ to earthly and anticipate His coming return?
Let’s wrap up our series today by doing just that. Below are links to some of my favorite Christmas carols; I would love for you to take time out to visit each one and join me in using it to give praise and gratitude to the Lamb, the Light whose reflection we so dearly desire to cast outward as we go about living our lives today and always.
It has been such an honor to walk beside you in these last weeks. Thank you so much for the opportunity and the fellowship…and Merry, Merry Christmas!
